Reasons to visit the Convent
Visiting the Convent to become familiar with one of the city’s main historical monuments and a spiritual center active since the 16th century; from here, you can admire the plain that slopes down to the Mediterranean Sea and the entrance to Cava d’Ispica.
It is a symbol of fervent spirituality from Ispica, since 1500.

Typical local products: oranges, capers, honey, olive oil, dried tomatoes, “cannellino” (sweet wine) liquor and homemade soaps.
Typical mission products: textiles, sculptures, ceramics and handicraft items.
