Reasons to visit the Convent
Visit the Convent of the Capuchin Friars of Savoca, built between 1603 and 1614, to enjoy a peaceful environment, finding yourself and with others, in the spirit of Franciscan fraternity.
Do not miss the crypt underneath the Church of the Convent, which houses mummified bodies dating back to the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, as well as the 17th-century frescoes, and the old refectory.
Opening times
1 November – 31 March: from Friday to Sunday, 09:30 am – 5:00 pm.
1 April – 31 October: from Monday to Sunday, 09:30 am – 7:30 pm.
